[Her tone quickly tells him to get off that particular topic. Truth be told, Bigby didn't want to hear what old Prince Charming was like under the sheets. And, frankly, he didn't want to confess to Snow about his own tumbles in bed. This was a new beginning and bringing up old history didn't seem to fit.

Bigby waved to one of the waitresses and hailed them over, tapping out his cigarette as she approached.]

I'll have a coffee and a slice of pie. Any kind - just make it a large slice.

[He waited until Snow ordered before he leaned back against the booth, relaxing a bit as he reached into his pocket and pulled out another cigarette.]

So... I guess we shouldn't discuss work, then, either. I'm running out of topics, Snow. Talking isn't one of my strong points.

Just coffee. Thank you. [ The waitress smiles and withdraws and she turns back to Bigby, expression... even, but thoughtful. ]

Well-- [ sigh ] How is the Sheriff thing going? I know some people weren't as... receptive to it, but I don't think you should stop. As far as I can tell, this place is nearly as lawless as Fabletown, and I know that's saying something. Someone needs to keep these people from murder, or worse.
